We are a non-profit organization founded
in 1962 whose mission is to promote opera in the Toledo community
and region. Our membership is comprised of a group of men and
women who volunteer their time and talents in many ways. Membership
is open to anyone with an interest in the opera and an interest
in promoting this exciting form of entertainment.
The Guild assists with the following
activities:
- Members of the Guild help secure host
housing for visiting artists. They also open their own homes
for visiting artists to stay on an extended basis
- Provide refreshments for the cast at
rehearsals
- Guild members usher at educational performances
- Each year the Guild hosts several fundraising
events whose profits support Toledo Opera activities.
- Guild members regularly volunteer in
the Toledo Opera office assisting with large mailings and
other clerical needs

Whatever your talents, there's a place for you in the Toledo
Opera Guild. Our volunteer activities are fun and often educational.
Join an active committee or offer an hour or two to support
a group. No time to volunteer? Your membership dues are an
important expression of support.
