Join Toledo Opera at the Secor Gallery at Registry Bistro on Tuesday, February 7th at 5:30pm for a FREE talk curated by Toledo Opera's Associate Conductor Sara Jobin. This FREE event will feature Maestra Sara Jobin and Dr. Linda Rouillard (University of Toledo).

Dr. Linda Rouillard, Professor of French (University of Toledo)

Dr. Rouillard earned a BA with a double major in French and Music from the University of Vermont where she also completed a Master's of Arts in Teaching in French. She earned a Ph.D. at the University of Pittsburgh in Medieval French Literature. Currently Professor of French at the University of Toledo, Dr. Rouillard teaches all levels of the French language, literature, and civilization. Her published articles address gender and race issues, and violence against women, as well as specific authors such as Philippe de Rémi, Christine de Pizan, Jacques Yver, and Claire de Duras. Dr. Rouillard has continued to pursue her musical interests through her membership in the Sylvania Community Orchestra as a violist and in the German Band Ein Prosit as a clarinetist.
