Toledo Opera announces auditions for upcoming
productions:
In May, 2008: Cavalleria Rusticana by
Pietro Mascagni
In November, 2008: Rigoletto by
Giuseppe Verdi
A love of singing and performing is essential.
Applicants should have some choral experience. Acting experience
is desirable but not required. Members of the opera chorus
are occasionally offered solo roles in addition to their ensemble
singing.

Toledo Opera performs at the Valentine Theatre
and the Toledo Museum of Art Peristyle. Recent productions
include Carmen (sold out this past November) and Il
Trovatore. Both productions received rave reviews in the
press.
