Toledo Opera announces auditions for 2007 Performing Arts Camp

You have a passion for music and performing. You want to improve your skills and knowledge. Join other students – just like you, dedicated to their art – who come to the 2007 Performing Arts Camp to explore and develop their creative abilities. Our faculty or artists and educators will guide, inspire, and empower you to achieve more than you’ve ever imagined.

It’s not too late to sign up for an audition! Sunday, May 13, and Sunday, May 20, 2007 from 3:00 to 5:00 p.m. in Toledo Opera’s 6th floor rehearsal room, at the Secor Building – 425 Jefferson Avenue

The curriculum includes voice classes, music preparation sessions, movement classes, acting classes, stagecraft and more! The camp culminates in a public performance on Friday, June 29, 2007.       

The Performing Arts Camp runs from June 18 through June 29, 2007 at Maumee High Schools and consists of two levels: Level I (grades 4-8) and Level II (grades 9-12). Tuition for either level is $375.00 for the ten-day session.
