Toledo Opera invites the community to a free performance of The Three Little Pigs, an original children’s opera presented as this year’s Opera On Wheels touring production.
In John Davies' adaptation of the classic story, siblings Don Giovanni, Cherubino, and Despina plan how they will build their new homes. While Don Giovanni and Cherubino decide on straw and sticks, Despina decides to research "huff-proof, puff-proof" building methods at the local library. Will knowledge prove more powerful than a wolf's appetite? Find out in this delightful retelling of the classic folk tale based on scenes and music from Wolfgan Amadeus Mozart's operas.
After the performance, attendees are invited to stay for cookies and punch along with a very special meet-and-greet with the artists!
