Toledo Opera presents Scene Setters – an exclusive circle of local content creators, tastemakers, and culture-lovers ready to bring opera to life for a new generation. Whether you’re into fashion, food, music, education, parenting, or the Toledo arts scene – if you’re passionate, plugged in, and ready to create, we want you. No opera knowledge required. Just creativity, curiosity, and community spirit.

The Role

As a Scene Setter, you’ll receive:

Free tickets to select Toledo Opera performances and events
Exclusive backstage access and content opportunities
Features on Toledo Opera’ social media
Ticket discounts to share with your followers
Invitations to rehearsals and community events

In return, you’ll:

Attend and enjoy select events as our guest
Create fun, authentic content that speaks to your audience
Share your experience via stories, posts, reels, or vlogs
Help broaden the reach of opera in Toledo

The Scene

We’re looking for Scene Setters who are:

Active on Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, YouTube, or LinkedIn
Comfortable creating content (photos, videos, stories, or blogs)
Engaged with a local following who trusts your voice
Excited to explore new experiences and support Toledo’s cultural scene

Whether your audience is large or niche, we value quality and authenticity over follower count.
