Rowley in the spotlight for Toledo Opera gala

Met Soprano Jennifer Rowley stars at the Toledo Opera’s annual gala, “A Night At the Met,” on Oct. 25. Ms. Rowley, an Ohio native, has performed several times with the Toledo Opera, most recently in Vanessa in 2017.

The gala begins with a champagne reception at 6 p.m., followed by the concert beginning at 7:15 p.m. A plated dinner prepared by Chef Erika Rapp and her team at Registry Bistro will be served after that. The evening’s menu is inspired by the Metropolitan Opera Cookbook, which was published in the 1940s and reflects the glamour of the era.

Tickets are $100 for the reception and concert. They are $250 for the reception, concert, dinner and a personal photo with Ms. Rowley. For tickets or more information, go to toledoopera.org.
