Rorick Receives 2021 Milestones Award

The YWCA of Northwest Ohio announced that Toledo Opera Executive Director Suzanne Rorick will receive a 2021 Milestones Award in the Arts category, honoring her outstanding contributions to the region’s community.

Established in 1996, the Milestones honor Northwest Ohio women who have demonstrated unique, exemplary achievement in their careers and community work, and exhibited outstanding leadership qualities.  The YWCA selects Milestones honorees annually in the arts, business, education, government, sciences, social services, and volunteerism.

“I’m very proud to add my name to all the women who have been recognized for the arts —especially for the YWCA, which has this great mission of battling racism,” said Rorick during a press conference. “I’m really pleased to associate the Opera and myself with the YWCA.”
