Toledo Opera giving free concert in Findlay

The final event in the Toledo Opera's Opera for All free concert series will be held Sunday at Riverside Park.

Toledo Opera, in partnership with The Findlay-Hancock County Community Foundation, is hosting a free community America 250 concert beginning at 4 p.m. Sunday, May 17, in the bandshell at Riverside Park, 231 McManness Ave.

The upcoming concert will feature Toledo Opera’s 2025-26 cohort of resident artists, selected from an international pool of more than 150 applicants for a one-year residency in Toledo. Resident Artists Sarah Rachel Bacani (soprano), Danielle Casós (mezzo-soprano), Brady DelVecchio (tenor), Rick Hale (baritone) and Yura Jang (pianist) will perform iconic vocal selections from the classical repertoire, along with musical theatre and other American standards.

For Toledo Opera General Director James Norman, the organization’s continued presence in Findlay reflects both a commitment to community connection and the strength of a valued local partnership: “We are delighted to continue bringing world-class opera to Findlay, made possible through the generous support of the Findlay-Hancock County Community Foundation," he said. "This ongoing partnership has allowed us to share the joy and accessibility of opera with the community, and we look forward to deepening these connections with each return engagement.”
